On January 1, 1997, Heartland entered into a long-term partnership with Northwest Health Services, a Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Northwest Health Services provides quality and affordable health care (medical, mental health and dental) at fifteen sites across northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas, including several rural communities where health care would otherwise not be locally available.

NHS accepts Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial insurances. We also offer a Sliding Fee Assistance Program for those who qualify, which makes health care affordable to everyone, whether they are insured, under-insured or non-insured.
