Heartland Health is
committed to meeting the needs of regional healthcare providers. As part
of this commitment, we have established our Regional Development
Department specifically to assist physicians working with Heartland
Health.
The regional provider relations manager serves as a liaison between
Heartland Health and all regional providers. This individual is
constantly traveling throughout the region to every community to meet
physicians and gain an understanding of the medical needs of the
community. From coordinating local educational offerings to introducing local physicians to available specialists, the Regional Provider
Relations Manager is committed to helping physicians locate the best
possible services for patients.
Our regional clinical coordinator works to ensure continuity of care for
patients throughout Heartland. Through the coordinator's efforts,
physicians are notified of their patient's admission to the acute care
as well as sending details of the stay to their physician upon
discharge. The regional clinical coordinator is a resource to physicians
for discovery of the most current clinical information on their
patients.
