Heartland Senior Health is charged with improving the health of Seniors in our community.
Beginning January, 2010, we will sponsor a monthly speaker program at East Hills Mall, 3702 Frederick Avenue. Dr. Jane Schwabe will kick off the series on January 12, 2010, speaking about health and weight management. The program will begin at 9 a.m. in the center court of the mall.
Light breakfast refreshments will be provided and there will be a raffle for door prizes. There is no cost to attend, but participants are
asked to make a reservation by signing in at the customer service desk (in the mall) or by calling (816) 279-5667 prior to the event.

Control department will discuss the upcoming flu season including information about
seasonal flu and H1N1 flu.

Tonya Douglas, Marketing Director of Senior Services with InterServ will discuss
services that are available that allow seniors to remain independent in their homes.
